For the first time in its history in 2010 Polish Wind Energy Association will award the IREW Prize. IREW is a Polish acronym for Interestingly and Honestly about Wind Power. It will be received by an author or person of group of persons who will publish/ broadcast the most interesting and honest text/program featuring wind power.

For the first time in its history in 2010 Polish Wind Energy Association will award the IREW Prize. IREW is a Polish acronym for Interestingly and Honestly about Wind Power. It will be received by an author or person of group of persons who will publish/ broadcast the most interesting and honest text/program featuring wind power.

The publication should contribute to the promotion of wind energy or present ecological, social or economic benefits of wind power. The prize is to distinguish the author and the publication which among many other texts would discuss wind power issues in the most competent way. 

The prize is PLN 10 000 and a statuette.

The prize may be awarded to individuals or groups of persons. Awarded materials must be published or broadcast between 1 March 2009 and 31 March 2010.

Publications may be submitted from 15 February to 7 April 2010. Announcement of the winner and awarding ceremony will be held during the Gala Dinner accompanying the “Wind Energy Market in Poland” Conference on 19 April 2010, 2000 hours, Hilton Hotel, Warsaw.
